MYA MOTORS AUTO GROUP PRIVACY POLICY
The Privacy Policy is intended to describe the management of personal data collected by MYA MOTORS Auto S.r.l. (“Company”) through this website, in accordance with applicable law.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal data that may be collected are as follows:
i. personal data provided to receive a specific service (e.g. name and contact details);
ii. browsing data (e.g. IP address, location – country –, information about the pages visited by the user within the website, time of access to the website, time spent on each page, clickstream analysis. Although the Company does not collect this information to associate it with specific users, it is possible to identify such users directly through this information or by using other collected information);
iii. cookies (i.e., small text files that can be sent to and stored on the user's computer by visited websites, to then be sent back to the same sites when the user visits them again. For further details, please refer to the Cookie Policy available on the website).
PURPOSE AND METHODS OF PROCESSING
The personal data collected (“Data”) may be processed for the following purposes:
a) execute a specific user request or provide the requested service (“Service”);
b) allow the Company to conduct surveys aimed at improving the quality of the products and services provided, by virtue of the Company's legitimate interest (“Customer Satisfaction”);
c) subject to the consent of the data subject, send commercial and/or promotional communications about the Company's products and services, as well as conduct market research (“Marketing”);
d) subject to the consent of the data subject, analyze behaviors, habits, and consumption preferences, in order to improve products and services provided by the Company, as well as to meet the specific needs of customers (“Profiling”);
e) with the prior consent of the data subject, communicate the Data to companies connected or affiliated with the Company, as well as to its partner companies operating in the automotive, financial, insurance, and telecommunications sectors, which may process them to send commercial and/or promotional communications regarding products and services of the aforementioned companies, as well as to conduct market research (“Third Party Marketing”);
f) improve the user experience on the Company's websites.
The Data may be processed using paper-based, automated or electronic methods and, in particular, by ordinary mail or email, telephone (e.g. automated calls, SMS, MMS), fax and any other IT channel (e.g. websites, mobile apps)
OTHER PARTIES WHO MAY PROCESS THE DATA
The Data may be processed by entities acting on behalf of the Company and under specific contractual obligations, in EU member countries or non-EU countries.
The Data may be disclosed to third parties to comply with legal obligations, to comply with orders from public authorities, or to exercise a right of the Company in court.
TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA)
Within the context of the Company's contractual relationships, the Data may be transferred outside the territory of the European Economic Area (EEA), including by entering them into databases managed by third-party companies operating on behalf of the Company. The management of the databases and the processing of the Data are bound to the purposes for which they were collected and are carried out in full compliance with the applicable personal data protection law.
Whenever the Data is to be transferred outside the EEA, the Company will adopt all appropriate and necessary contractual measures to ensure an adequate level of Data protection, including – among others – agreements based on the standard contractual clauses for data transfer outside the EEA, approved by the European Commission.

DATA CONTROLLER
The data controller is MYA MOTORS Auto S.r.l. with registered office in Vico Ottaviano 1, Paternò, (CT), 95047.
DATA RETENTION
The Data processed to provide the Service and for Customer Satisfaction will be retained by the Company for the period deemed strictly necessary to achieve these purposes.
However, the Company may continue to retain such Data for a longer period in order to handle any disputes related to the provision of the Service.
The Data processed for Marketing and Profiling purposes will be retained by the Company from the moment the data subject has given their consent until such consent is revoked. In the event that consent is revoked, the Data can no longer be processed for the aforementioned Marketing and Profiling purposes but may still be retained in order to manage any disputes and/or litigation. The retention period for Data for Marketing and Profiling purposes is in accordance with local regulations as well as the provisions of the Data Protection Authority.
The data processed to improve the user experience on the websites will be retained for the periods indicated in the Cookie Policy.
THE RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
The data subject is granted the following rights:
1. right of access, that is the right to obtain from the Company confirmation as to whether or not Data is being processed and, if so, to obtain access to it;
2. right to rectification and erasure, i.e. the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate Data and/or the integration of incomplete Data or the erasure of Data for legitimate reasons;
3. right to restriction of processing, i.e. the right to request the suspension of processing if there are legitimate reasons;
4. right to data portability, that is, the right to receive the Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as well as the right to transmit the Data to another data controller;
5. right to object, that is, the right to object to the processing of Data if there are legitimate reasons, including the processing of Data for marketing and profiling purposes, if provided;
6. right to contact the competent data protection authority in case of unlawful processing of the Data.

CHANGES
This Privacy Policy came into effect on 04/10/2021.
The Company reserves the right to partially or fully modify the Privacy Policy or simply update its content (for example, following changes to the applicable law). The Company will publish any updates on this website.
